This is a picture an old friend of mine posted on FB yesterday. As you can see the baby is incorrectly strapped in. I tried to educate the mother on the state law and she came back at me with the “he weighs enough” excuse …Well just because he weighs enough does NOT mean you can/should turn him around. ESPECIALLY in an infant seat which is never to be faced forward. On top of that he has no chest clip and his straps are very loose. Now being this was my friend/old roommate she got defensive and mad. I understand she got upset but how can you knowingly strap your baby in wrong. (This is her second child mind you) So I say again I educated her on her choice to forward face and suggested that she buy a forward facing seat if she choses to forward face a 9 month old that weighs enough. Needless to say she has since deleted me and blocked me but sorry I’m NOT sorry that I recognized you were putting your baby in danger and tried to help you understand that.
P.S. her older boy should be in a booster seat but I never got to that….

Excuse my French…
But where they hell is the Spring/Summer weather? This is NC and yeah it’s 83 today but tell me why the hell it gets cooler or rainy every weekend? Its freaking wakeboarding season and the water temp is still low enough to wear wetsuits (which I am NOT a fan of btw) last year it was like 90 by now. Stupid bi-polar NC weather…..

Our Pink Lemonade party was a success! Addison really enjoyed everything and I’m so glad the rain stayed away. Saturday was exciting and yet bittersweet…. I can’t believe it has been a year (well officially a year tomorrow) since she came into this world and changed my life. I never thought I’d have another baby but I’m so glad I did. She has been such a blessing to our little family and brings such joy to us daily.
